Thanks to all the drivers, fans, crew members and help that attended opening night at Springfield Raceway. The wind blew hard, resulting in another 40,000 gallons of water being dumped on the 1/4-mile clay oval. With 106 cars checked in, fans watched 270 laps made around the Springfield Raceway as dirt cars raced on every inch of 'er.
