Mayberry and Taylor Win All Metals Recycling Sweetheart 150

February 19, 2023

The duo of Mayberry and Taylor shared a Special Valentine moment by winning the All Metals Recycling Sweetheart 150 at Springfield Raceway riding in their 97 Mercury Cougar rear wheel drive with a 4.6 in er.

From the pole Michael Gillis took off in his ford in the lead as sparks & smoke flew from intense Enduro action . 18th starting position Derrick Wilson driving a Regal or olds cutlass whatever it was  from Chanute Kansas  took the lead & he & Gillis stalked each other like a ol coon dog Huntin coon in tha night staying within a straight away from each other & at times side by side or bumper to bumper slicing through the wild traffic like professional drifters on tha Red Bull New Year’s Eve party special with tone loaks &  Miley.       Around lap 117 things went to shit for Wilson as his lead car was having transmission troubles letting smoke bombs out of his ol Chevy killing all mosquitos in Missouri directly in Gillis path. There wasn’t enough STP in Wilson’s tranny as  Gillis grinned ear to ear as Wilson left the track … Gillis was rollin nicely until around lap 138 until his smiles went to a frown thinkin he shouldn’t of smiled so big when Wilson’s tranny went to smokin as he now had a rr blowout .  Mayberry & his Valentine Sweetheart who was holding hands with on a Saturday afternoon drive as they accepted the number 1 position & drove on to a All Metals Recycling Pepsi 150 SWEETHEART CHAMPIONSHIP… The Sweetheart duo pocketed themselves a $1000, a 12 pack of Pepsi , a huge tall kool trophy & for sharing some Valentine Sweet heart love of having Taylor as a passenger they recieived a Sweetheart bonus of $168.69…

Taylor was all smiles as she got her photo taken with Track owner Jerry Hoffman.

Hoffman stated “It was kool to pay the bonus with 2 love birds sharing a kool moment & Taylor had nice hair, a precious smile & a good hat & white teeth & smelled like coconuts & had boots on but didn’t c a wedding ring…Congrats on your WIN”

Thanks You to all the Enduro Drivers & Everyone that came out to Springfield Raceway yesterday.
