USRA Stock Cars debut Saturday at Springfield

For the first time ever, the Medieval USRA Stock Cars join the weekly racing program at the Springfield Raceway this Saturday, Aug. 13, with American Products Night.

Chris’s Key Shop brings the USRA Stock Cars paying $800 to win and $100 to start. This will be a USRA-sanctioned race for Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series national points.

Along with USRA B-Mods, seven classes of dirt cars will be competing this Saturday, and the quick quarter-mile will have $1 hot dogs and $2 Busch Light to wash 'em down. If you are not of a legal age to drink a Bush Light then you can always purchase a Pepsi product.

In addition to the USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods presented by All Trailer Services, classes on this Saturday's card includes Bad Boy Mowers IMCA Modifieds, Indigo Sky Casino Midwest Modz (A Class), Hayden Machinery Midwest Modz (B Class), INEX Legends Cars, Pepsi Pure Stocks and Guffey Services Heating & Cooling Mini Stocks/FWDs.

Driving Directions: I-44 to exit 75, then south to Kearney Hwy, then 1.0 mile west to Westgate Ave, then 0.3 mile south to 2110 N Farm Rd 123, Springfield, MO 65802.

Grandstands ticket prices are $17 for adults or $15 for military and seniors. Adult pit passes are $35 and kids 6-14 are $15, Children 5 & under are free.

The pit gate will open at 3:30 p.m., grandstands open at 6, hot laps begin at 6:30 and racing gets underway at 7.
