Drive a Dirt Car
Southwest Missouri has a new attraction! It is faster than any ride at Silver Dollar City and more exhilarating than anything you will find in Branson. The “Dirt Car Driving Experience” will give anyone that has the nerve to strap into our professionally prepared Dirt Cars the opportunity to experience the thrill of driving a Dirt Track Racing. Students will have the choice of three types of Dirt Cars to choose from, Winged Outlaw Sprint Cars, Dirt Late Models or Dirt Modifieds. Your experience will take place on Springfield Raceway’s challenging 1/4 mile high banked oval which does not have concrete walls in the corners like most race tracks. This feature will be very forgiving and add piece of mind to the student as they get up to speed during their Driving Experience.
The “Dirt Car Driving Experience” is now booking dates for the following packages.
Ride Along Experience - $100 - Experience real life racing thrills by riding shotgun in a 2-seat Hoffman Modified driven by one of our professional instructors for 4-laps of high banked dirt slinging excitement at speeds up to 90 MPH.
Hot Lap Experience - 1 Session $299
Your hands are on the wheel, your foot is on the gas and you are in the driver’s seat, sliding sideways for 12 laps around the track. The total experience can last up to two hours, but the memories last a lifetime.
Feature Experience - 2 Sessions $499
Satisfy your need for speed while trying to tame the Raceway in this high-thrill, 25-lap* program. Lasts up to half a day.
Racing Experience - 3 Sessions $899
This program covers 50 laps* over 1 full day. You’ll receive instruction on refining your driving line, building speed and how to master the art of Dirt Track Racing.

* Special dates are available upon request for groups of (8) eight or more.
